Patrick R. McGill is a former acting justice of the Clinton County Supreme Court in the 4th Judicial District of New York. He was also a Clinton County Court judge. He was elected to the county court in 2000 and was re-elected in 2009.[1]

In June 2016, McGill announced his retirement from the court effective September 1, 2016. He reached the state's mandatory retirement age of 70 in April 2016.[2]

Education

McGill received his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University in 1968 and his J.D. degree from St. John's University in 1971.[1]

Career

McGill served as a Plattsburgh City Court judge from 1972 to 1974. He was elected to the Clinton County Family Court in 1989. He then joined the Clinton County Court in 2000.[1]
