Patty Neuwirth is the Area 2 representative on the Lawton Public Schools school board in Oklahoma. Neuwirth won a first term in the by-district general election on February 14, 2017. Neuwirth was a member of the board from 1991 to 2006.

One seat on the Lawton Public Schools school board was scheduled for by-district general election on February 14, 2017. However, the election for the Area 2 seat was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbent Helena John did not file for re-election, leaving the seat open for a newcomer. Former member Patty Neuwirth filed for the seat and was automatically elected.[1][2]
