Paul M. Burch
Paul M. Burch is a circuit court judge for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly and assumed office on June 1, 1991. He was re-elected in 2022.[2][3][4]
Education
Burch received his undergraduate degree, his master's degree, and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Burch worked as an attorney in private practice from 1980 until 1991 and was a partner at the firm of Henderson, Spencer and Burch. He has served the public in his work as an attorney for the town of Pageland, S.C., as an elected official for the Chesterfield County Council, and as an elected representative of the South Carolina House of Representatives.[2]
