Phillip J. Argento
Phillip J. Argento was an assigned judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California.[1] He joined the court in 2000 and retired on August 1, 2005.[2]
After his retirement, Argento participated in the Assigned Judges Program, which assigns retired judges temporary jurisdiction in the event of vacancies or high case loads in the courts.[3]

Career
- 2000-2005: Judge, Los Angeles County Superior Court (Elevated as part of court unification)
- 1982-2000: Judge, Pasadena Municipal Court (Appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown)
Before joining the municipal court, Argent gained experience as an attorney with the law firm of Bolton and Gelbard, which at the time served as house counsel for Travelers Insurance Co. He also worked under attorney Martin L. Abrams and spent over three years at the litigation firm Breidenbach, Swainston, Yokaitis & Crispo.[2]
