Pierce City Existing Fire Tax Repeal question was approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Lawrence County, which is in Missouri.
If the measure that incorporates the new Pierce City Fire Protection District and establishes a new property tax to support it is approved and if this measure is approved, it would repeal the current 1/4 cent sales tax that was in place.[1]

“ | If the voters approve the creation for the Pierce City Fire Protection District which includes creation of a real estate tax of $0.30 per $100.00 assessed value, shall the existing tax within the Pierce City municipal city limits of ¼ cents sales tax currently be repealed?
