A Portage School District Tax Increase measure was on the April 6, 2010 ballot in the Portage school district which is in Portage County.

This measure was approved

This measure sought to increase local school district property taxes in order to cover short falls in state funding for the district budget. Local property taxes will be raised slightly to pay for the increased budget, but the school district noted that it would only tax as allowed and as needed.[2]
