R. Knox McMahon
R. Knox McMahon is a circuit court judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He joined the court on March 13, 2006.[2][3] McMahon did not seek reelection in 2018. He retired at the end of his term on June 30, 2018.[4]
Education
McMahon received both his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina.[2]
Career
Before joining the court, McMahon worked as an attorney in private practice and was previously an assistant solicitor. He also served as a Columbia police officer, a police officer for the University of South Carolina, and as a sheriff's deputy for Lexington County.[2]
