R. Lawton McIntosh is a circuit court judge for the Tenth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly on May 13, 2009.[2][3] He was re-elected in February 2019.[4]

Education

McIntosh received his undergraduate degree from Wofford College in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1986.[2]

Career

Before he joined the court, McIntosh practiced law with the firm of Mcintosh, Sherard and Sullivan. He also previously served as a law clerk for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Court.[2]
