The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, held elections for city council on November 3, 2015. A primary took place on May 19, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 11, 2015. Five of the nine city council seats were up for election. In the primary election for District 1, incumbent Darlene Harris faced Randy Zotter and Bobby Wilson. Harris was the winner.[1] She defeated Dave Schuilenburg in the general election.[2][3]
