Ray Allen is a former Wisconsin secretary of workforce development. He was appointed to the position by Gov. Scott Walker (R) on January 21, 2016.[1] Allen served in the position until 2019.

Allen began his career as a marketing and financial representative with the John Deere Company. He was appointed to a position with the Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations in 1987 and went on to serve the department in a number of roles. He joined the Department of Financial Institutions in 1996, where he served for twenty years prior to his appointment as head of the Department of Workforce Development in 2016.[1]
