Richard A. Maughmer
Richard A. Maughmer is a judge for the Superior Court of Cass County in Indiana. He was first elected in 2001.
Education
Maughmer received his bachelor's degree and J.D. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating with his law degree in 1979.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Maughmer worked in private practice and in the Cass County Prosecutor’s office. In 1986 he was appointed Cass County Prosecutor by Governor Robert Orr. In 2001, after being elected to the court, he was transferred to active duty in the U.S. Air Force; after his service he was able to return to his elected post.[2]
2012 election
Maughmer ran unopposed for re-election in the 2012 election.[3]
