Robert A. Foster, Jr.
Robert A. Foster Jr. was a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was elected to this position on November 7, 2000, and took office the following January. He was re-elected in 2006 and 2012. His term expired in January 2019.[1][2]
Education
Foster received his B.A. degree (in political science) from the University of South Florida in 1972 and his J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law in 1975.[2][3]
Career
Foster began his career in 1976 as an Assistant Public Defender for Hillsborough County. He worked as a lawyer in Tampa prior to his election to the circuit court in 2000.[2][3][4]
2012 election
Foster was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[5]
