Robert Bailey was a judge for the Tenth Judicial District of Mississippi.[1][2] He served as a judge for the court since January 1, 1988, and was re-elected after running unopposed on November 4, 2014. His last term was set to expire in 2018.[3] In April 2015, Bailey announced his plans to retire from the bench on June 30, 2015.[4]

Education

Bailey received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in 1971.[4][5]

Career

Prior to his judicial career, Bailey worked as an attorney in private practice for 17 years.[4]
