Robert E. Newton is a family court judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly on May 23, 2012.[2][3]
Education
Newton received his B.S. in finance from the University of South Carolina in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1988.[2]
Career
Before his election to the court, Newton worked as an attorney in private practice in Lexington, South Carolina, specializing in litigation in the family courts of South Carolina.[2]
