Robert E. Roundtree, Jr. is a former chief judge of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Jeb Bush (R) in 2002.[1] Roundtree retired on June 30, 2017.[2]

Roundtree received his B.S. in building construction from the University of Florida in 1975 and his J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law in 1979.[1]

Prior to taking the bench, Roundtree was a clerk for the Florida First District Court of Appeal.[3]
