Kennedy, Jr. ran for election to the Florence/Forest County Circuit Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on April 1, 2014, after receiving 37.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Leon Stenz.

Education
Kennedy graduated from Crandon High School in 1973 and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1977. He received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1980.[4]
Career
Since 1980, Kennedy has been engaged in private practice in Crandon, Wisconsin. He has also served as district attorney of Florence County for one term and circuit court judge of Florence and Forest counties for one term.[4]
