Ronald E. Bookbinder

Ronald E. Bookbinder was the assignment judge on the Vicinage 3 Superior Court in New Jersey.[1] He was first appointed in 1990 and reappointed with tenure in 1997.[2] Bookbinder retired on July 1, 2019.[3]
Education
Bookbinder received his B.A. from Colgate University and his J.D. from George Washington University.[4]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Bookbinder served as an attorney for many different municipalities and agencies, beginning with the Planning Board attorney for Burlington Township. He was legal advice for Mount Laurel Utilities Authority, Pemberton Township Utilities Authority, Pemberton Township Planning Board, Delran Planning Board, Eastampton Planning Board, Wrightstown Planning Board, Riverside Zoning Board, Wrightstown Zoning Board, Mount Holly Zoning Board, Hainesport Zoning Board, Beverly Zoning Board, Edgewater Park Zoning Board, and Bordentown Utilities Authority. He was the prosecutor for the townships of Palmyra and Pemberton, and public defender for Burlington City. Bookbinder was also active in the Democratic Party. He was on the state's Democratic committee until he became a judge and was Burlington County's Democratic chairman from 1981 to 1986.[5]
