Ronni D. Birnbaum was a judge for the New York City Housing Court of Queens County, New York. She was appointed to this postion on April 1, 1991 and was reappointed in 1996, 2001, 2006 and 2011.[1][2]

Education

Birnbaum received her B.A. from Hofstra University in 1972 and her J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School in 1976.[1]

Career

Birnbaum began her career in 1976 as an assistant Kings County district attorney. She then worked as a private practice lawyer from 1979 to 1986. In 1986, she worked briefly as a court attorney for the housing court. She then served as a court attorney for the criminal court in 1987 and 1988 and as a law secretary for various supreme court justices in 1988 and 1989. After that, she worked as a court attorney of the Appellate Division (1st Department) until she was appointed to the housing court in 1991.[1]
