Ryan Murdock was a candidate for at-large representative on the Lee's Summit R-7 Schools school board in Missouri. Murdock was defeated in the at-large general election on April 4, 2017.

Three seats on the Lee's Summit R-7 Schools school board were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. All three incumbents did not choose to seek re-election. A total of 12 candidates filed for the open seats: Jacqueline Clark (Jackie McEntire), Dennis Smith, Susan Coffman, Kim Fritchie, Carl Quijas, Mark Dziedzic, Ryan Murdock, Diego Gutierrez, Michael McMenus, Jill Dannaldson, Jill Worstell, and Mark Augustin. Fritchie, Clark, and Smith won election to the three seats. Dannaldson withdrew from the race in January 2017 and her name did not appear on the ballot.[1][2]
