Sam Walker is a former Colorado Executive Director of Labor and Employment. He was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper (D) on February 2, 2018, and he served until Hickenlooper's term ended in January 2019.[1]

Walker previously worked at the Molson Coors Brewing Company as the chief legal and corporate affairs officer (2016 to 2018) and as the chief people (human resources) officer (2012 to 2016). He was a partner at Wiley Rein LLP before working for Molson Coors. He has previous experience serving in the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Labor.[1]
