Scott Fairgrieve

Scott Fairgrieve is a judge for the District Court of Nassau County in New York. He was elected to the court in 2001 and his current term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Fairgrieve received his undergraduate degree from Adelphi Univeresity in 1973 and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1976.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Fairgrieve was an attorney for twenty-four years.[2]
2012 election
Fairgrieve defeated Harvey A. Strickon in the general election on November 6, winning 58.58% of the vote. He ran on the Democratic, Green, Independence and Working Families party tickets.[3][4][2]
