Seattle Initiative 99 (2009)

Seattle Initiative 99 was a proposed ballot initiative to prohibit replacing Seattle's Alaskan Way Viaduct with a tunnel. The initiative would have prohibited the use of public property for the tunnel.

The campaign had until July 20, 2009, to collect at least 17,968 voter signatures.[1]
