Campaign website
Nazarian's campaign website stated the following:
Sharona’s Vision for Beverly Hills:
Transparency, Fiscal Responsibility, and Accessible Government
Nazarian has prioritized transparency and accountability in city government through initiatives such as monthly Straight Talk with Sharona town halls and regular In the Know updates, giving residents direct access to city leadership.
She also highlighted the City’s shift to priority-based planning and zero-based budgeting, helping move Beverly Hills from a proposed deficit to an anticipated surplus for the 2025–2026 budget.
“Strong public safety and city services must be backed by responsible financial stewardship,” she said.
While utility providers are independent of the City, Nazarian added, “I will advocate relentlessly for improved service, stronger communication, and better outcomes from Southern California Edison and Spectrum.”
A Relentless Focus on Safety and Security
How Sharona Will Implement This Initiative
Sharona will continue advancing Beverly Hills as a national leader in proactive, technology-driven public safety. Her focus is on prevention, rapid response, and officer and community safety through continued investment in real-time intelligence, AI-enabled tools, emergency preparedness, and strong partnerships between law enforcement, fire services, and the community. She is committed to ensuring Beverly Hills remains proactive instead of reactive when it comes to safety and security.
How Sharona Has Already Implemented This Priority
Throughout her service on the City Council and as Mayor, Sharona has made public safety her top priority. She supported the launch of the Beverly Hills Police
Department’s Real Time Watch Center (RTWC), a centralized, high-tech hub monitoring thousands of cameras, license plate readers, and public safety resources across the city. She has supported AI-assisted reporting tools, Live Link technology, BH FireWatch, and enhanced emergency preparedness drills, positioning Beverly Hills as a national model for smart, data-driven public safety.
Seniors, Youth, and Community Connection
Nazarian has placed particular emphasis on programs that keep residents connected across generations. For seniors and active adults, she has expanded engagement through initiatives such as Sunday Socials with Sharona, which provide opportunities for conversation, learning, and social connection.
“Our seniors are the heart of Beverly Hills,” she said. “They deserve to feel informed, engaged, and valued.”
At the same time, Nazarian has worked with teens and young adults through Sharona’s Innovation Circle, encouraging civic engagement, leadership development, and creative problem-solving.
“When generations learn from one another, the entire city benefits,” she said.
Preparedness, Remembrance, and Education
How Sharona Will Implement This Initiative
Sharona will continue prioritizing vigilance, preparedness, and education in response to acts of hate, violence, and antisemitism. She remains committed to strengthening coordination among law enforcement, community organizations, and regional partners while ensuring remembrance and education remain central to Beverly Hills’ values.
How Sharona Has Already Implemented This Priority
Following the October 2023 massacre attacks, Sharona provided steady leadership by spearheading enhanced safety planning and coordination across agencies and community groups. She played a leading role in organizing and supporting the October 7 Memorial and Garden, honoring lives lost and reinforcing the importance of unity, remembrance, and education for future generations.
