Shawn L. Briese was a judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to this position in 1990, effective the following January. He retired when his term expired on January 5, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Briese received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University.[1]
Career
Briese is a former assistant attorney general and assistant state attorney. In 1987, he was elected to the Volusia County Court. He was then elected to the circuit court in 1990.[1]
