Sheridan C. Randolph

Sheridan C. Randolph is a judge for the Bradley County General Sessions Court in Bradley County, Tennessee. He also presides over the Bradley County Juvenile Court. Randolph is based out of Cleveland, Tennessee.[1] He was elected to the court in 2006 and re-elected in 2014. His current eight-year term ends in 2022.[2][3][4]

Randolph ran for re-election to the Bradley County General Sessions Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 41.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Barrett Painter and Shari Tayloe.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on August 7, 2014.

Education
Randolph received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.[7]
Public reprimand
In June 2012, Randolph was publicly reprimanded by the Tennessee Court of the Judiciary. At issue was the judge's participation in a hearing for an alleged suspect of a burglary of which he was the victim. This action violated the Tennessee Code of Judicial Conduct, which states:
“ | A judge shall disqualify himself or herself in a proceeding in which the judge's impartiality might reasonably be questioned...[8] | ” |
