In her bid for re-election to Trustee Area 2, incumbent Sheryl Schmidt was defeated by challenger Silvia Ortega. Trustee Area 4 incumbent Linda Chard ran unopposed and won re-election by default.[1][2]

Funding
Schmidt filed an exemption form detailing she would not spend or receive more than $2,000 for this campaign. Because of this, she did not have to file additional campaign finance reports.[3][4]

This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbent Sheryl Schmidt was re-elected by default.[5]
