Both measures were defeated
Park Creation Question:
- YES 1,295 (47.61%)
- NO 1,425 (52.39%)
Levy Question:
- YES 1,086 (39.16%)
- NO 1,687 (60.84%)[1]
This measure sought to create a park district in the county and then to implement a levy of $.29 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of six years in order to pay for operational costs of the park district.[2]
