South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District Property Tax (February 2010)
There was a South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District Property Tax measure on the February 9 ballot in Island County for voters in the South Whidbey district.
This measure was approved
- YES 3,765 (62.34%)
- NO 2,274 (37.66%)[1]
This measure sought to implement a district tax at a rate of $.15 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to help fund the maintenance of the pars in the district.[2]
