Squire Needham Williams III

Squire Needham Williams III is a family court judge for the Franklin County Family Court of the 48th Judicial Circuit. It serves Franklin County of Kentucky.[1]
Williams was appointed to the court by Governor Steve Beshear in September 2009 and was later elected by voters on November 2, 2010.[2][3][4] He was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning an eight-year term that expires on January 1, 2023.[5][6]

Education
Williams received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Kentucky in 1987 and his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1999.[2]
Career
Before his appointment to the court, Williams was a partner with the firm of Hazelrigg & Cox in Frankfort, Kentucky. He had been an attorney in private practice for over eight years and has also previously served as a special master commissioner and as a deputy master commissioner of the Franklin Circuit Court.[2]
