Three of the seven seats on the Coweta County Board of Education were up for general election on May 24, 2016. District 2 incumbent Sue Brown won re-election against challenger Stan Roughton. Winston Dowdell ran for re-election in District 5 without opposition. Incumbent Frank Farmer defeated challengers Sandra Haner, Loreli Scott, and Monica Terrell for At-large Seat 2.[1]
