A Stanwood Transportation District Sales & Use Tax proposition was approved on the February 12, 2013 election ballot in Snohomish County, which is in Washington.
This proposition authorized the Stanwood Transportation Benefit Distrit to impose a sales and use tax of 0.2% for ten years in roder to fund the transportation improvement projects listed below in the Text of measure section.[1]

| “ | Sales and Use Tax for Transportation Improvements
The Board of the Stanwood Transportation Benefit District adopted Resolution 2012-TBD02 concerning a sales and use tax to fund transportation improvements. This proposition would authorize a sales and use tax of two-tenths of one percent (0.2%) to be collected within the District in accordance with RCW 82.14.0455 for ten years. Such revenues would be used for the purpose of funding the following transportation improvement projects: street preservation, including: pavement repair, overlay, chip seal and patching and other projects identified in the State and City’s Transportation Plan.
