Steven Henderson

Steven Henderson was a judge of the Seventh Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott (R) on November 27, 2017 to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Judge Kellie Miles.[1] Henderson died from complications due to COVID-19 on August 25, 2021.[2]
At the time of his appointment to the circuit court, Henderson was a judge of the Volusia County Court. He was appointed to that position by Scott in December 2011 and re-elected without opposition in 2014.[3][4]
Biography
Henderson earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law. His professional experience included work as an assistant state attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit.[1]
