Steven Zelman was the probate judge for the Bloomfield Probate Court in Connecticut's Tobacco Valley.[1] He retired in August 2017, upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70 years.

Biography

Zelman earned his B.A. from the University of Connecticut and his J.D. from Suffolk Law School. His professional experience includes working as an attorney at Murphy, Laudati, Kiel, Buttler & Rattigan, LLC and as an administrative judge for the Hartford Regional Children's Probate Court.[2]

2010

Zelman defeated Edward McAnaney for election to the new Tobacco Valley (Region #3) Probate District on November 2, 2010.[4][5] This new court replaced the Bloomfield Probate District in 2011.[6]
