Tamara Russell

Tamara Russell is a judge for the First Judicial District Court of Colorado.[1] Russell was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bill Owens in September 2005 to replace retiring judge James D. Zimmerman.[2] She took her seat in October of 2005.[3]
Russell was later retained by voters in 2008 and 2014, and her six-year term was set to expire on January 11, 2021.[4] [5]

Russell was retained to the First Judicial District with 69.8 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [6]

Career
Prior to taking the bench in 2005, Russell served as a chief deputy city attorney for Lakewood, Colorado for eight years.[2][7]
