Terry L. Christiansen
Terry L. Christiansen was a judge for the Third Judicial District Court in Salt Lake County, Utah.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Michael O. Leavitt in July 2000 and retired from the bench on October 1, 2014.[2][3]
Education
Christiansen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah School of Law in 1975.[2][4]
Career
After earning his law degree, Terry began working with the firm of Roe & Fowler in Salt Lake City. He then served as the chief deputy attorney for Summit County, as a prosecutor for Park City, and worked for the firm of Adkins & Christiansen. Following that, Christiansen worked for ten years as a small claims judge. He was then appointed to the Third Judicial District Court in July of 2000.[2]

Christiansen was successfully retained to the Third Judicial District Court in 2010.[5][6]
