Texas senator to speak on general election issues

TYLER, Texas: Texas Senator Kevin Eltife will speak at an open discussion on October 6, 2009 sponsored by The League of Woman Voters, a nonpartisan organization that encourages citizens to become involved in their government, including elections. The senator will give background upon all issues at the city library related to the November 3, 2009 general election.

Early voting in the state will take place between October 19, 2009 to October 30, 2009. The discussion is also sponsored by Tyler/Smith County.[1]
