Thomas P. Stefaniak Jr.

Thomas P. Stefaniak Jr. is a senior juvenile court judge for the Lake County Superior Court in Indiana. Governor Frank O'Bannon appointed him to the court in 2001. He was transferred to the juvenile division when former juvenile Judge Mary Beth Bonaventura became the head of the Indiana Department of Child Services.[1] He retired in 2014 and began serving as a senior judge.[2]
Education
Stefaniak earned a B.S. degree from St. Joseph's College, going on to receive his J.D. from Valparaiso University. He was admitted to the bar in 1990.[3]
Career
Before his appointment to the superior court in 2001, Stefaniak was elected Hammond city judge in 1995.[1]
