The incumbent chose not to file for re-election, and Mason Moses defeated Tony Pitts for the open seat. The November 4, 2014, general election in Round Rock Independent School District featured five seats up for election. In the Place 1 race, incumbent Claudio Cruz faced a challenge from Nikki Gonzales. Place 3 incumbent Diane Cox ran for re-election against challenger Bryan Black.
