Tony Jones (South Carolina)

Tony Jones was an at-large judge for the South Carolina Family Courts. He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly and assumed office in July 2013.[1][2] He passed away in 2019.[3]
Education
Jones received his B.A. in communication arts from Appalachian State University in 1980 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1983.[4][5]
Career
After law school, Jones practiced law with Luther C. Elrod, III and became a partner at the firm in 1987. He specialized in practice before the family court and worked in private practice until he became a judge at-large in 2013.[5]
