Primary: He was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 21.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Tommy Rogers and Lewis Jones.

Storms received a B.A. in English and a J.D. from Tulane University in 1993 and 1996, respectively.[3]
