William H. Hawkins

William H. Hawkins is a judge for the Island County District Court in Washington.[1] He was appointed by the Island County Commission in February 2013 and was re-elected by voters in 2014.[2][3] His four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

Hawkins received a B.A. from the University of Florida, and a J.D. from the University of Colorado - Boulder in 1982.[2][5]
Career
At the time of his judicial appointment, Hawkins was a judge pro tem for the district court. He served as a Island County prosecutor for 17 years, worked in private practice for 10 years, and was the city attorney for Oak Harbor.[2]
