William Kenneth Eaton
William Kenneth Eaton is a former probate judge for the Florence County Probate Court in Florence County, South Carolina.[1] He was appointed by former Governor Jim Hodges in April 2000 and retired from the court on December 31, 2013.[2][3]
2010 election
Eaton was re-elected to the Florence County Probate Court on November 2, 2010 after running unopposed.[4]
Education
Eaton received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University in 1961 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1964. He then served in the United States Army as a first lieutenant in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps.[3]
Career
Eaton served as a military trial judge in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps from 1964 to 1970. He then practiced law with the firm of McGowan, Nettles, Keller and Eaton for twenty-nine years.[3]
