Connecticut: Elise Pique, 82, who buried her late husband's body in her backyard has been fighting local zoning regulations to try to keep him there. In 2005, a year after the burial, local officials told Mrs. Pique that she was prohibited from burying people on residential property. Mrs. Pique sued the town. After a Superior Court judge ruled against her, she appealed to the state Appellate Court, which dismissed the case. Now, it has reached the Supreme Court, with arguments scheduled for April 17.[1]
