Dick Cohen is a Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party member of the Minnesota State Senate. He was first elected in 1986. Cohen is a former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, serving from 1977 to 1979 and again from 1983 to 1987.

Cohen graduated from Northwestern with his Bachelor's degree and later graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell Law. Cohen is a former Public Defender for Hennipen County.
