William Patrick Kelly is a district judge of Iowa District 5C. He was appointed to this position in 2015. Kelly was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1]

Biography

Kelly received an undergraduate degree from Brown University and a J.D. from Drake University.[1]

Prior to joining the court in 2015, he was in private practice for 16 years and an adjunct professor of law at Drake University for five years.[1] Kelly also served in the U.S. Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan.[2]
