A Pateros School District Levy Replacement measure was on the February 14, 2012 ballot in the Pateros school district area which is in Chelan and Okanogan County.

This measure sought to replace the current school levy with one set at a rate of $2.77 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of two years in order to continue to pay for maintenance and operational costs in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

The Board of Directors of Pateros School District No. 122-70J adopted Resolution No. 255, concerning a proposition to finance maintenance and operation expenses. This proposition would authorize the District to meet the educational needs of its students by levying the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, for support of the District’s General Fund educational maintenance and operation expenses.[3]
