Michael T. McHugh is a Lee County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Jeb Bush in 2006.[1][2] He was later re-elected in 2008 and 2014, and his current six-year term expires on January 4, 2021.[3][4][5]

As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4] 

Education

McHugh earned his J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 1992.[6]

Career

McHugh is a former managing attorney for Allstate Insurance Company. He was appointed to the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in 2006.[6]
