The Pennsylvania Magisterial Districts are minor courts in Pennsylvania that deal with small claims, landlord-tenant disputes, traffic cases and minor criminal matters. Magisterial district judges chosen in competitive elections for six-year terms. There are 546 magisterial district judges throughout the state.[1][2]
