Andrew A. Valdez was a Utah Third Judicial District judge for Salt Lake County, Utah for the Courthouse of Matheson of the Third District Juvenile.[1] Judge Valdez was first appointed by Governor Michael O. Leavitt in June of 1993.[2] He retired on November 1, 2013.[3]
Education
Valdez received his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1977.
Career
He was a commissioned captain in the United States Army J.A.G. Corp and trial counsel with the Legal Defenders Association Felony/Homicide Division.[2]
