Rhonda Peoples-Waters is a judge of the Duval County Court in Florida. She assumed office on January 5, 2021. Her current term ends on January 5, 2027.
Peoples-Waters won election for judge of the Duval County Court in Florida outright in the primary on August 18, 2020, after the general election was canceled.
Peoples-Waters was a candidate for the Duval County Court of Florida in 2012.[1]
Education
Peoples-Waters received her B.S. degree (Business Administration) from Fisk University in 1996 and her J.D. degree from the University of Florida in 1999.[2]

Peoples-Waters was defeated by Michelle Kalil in the general election on Nov. 6, 2012, receiving 44.0% of the vote. She previously received 31.4% of the vote in the primary on August 14, 2012.[3][4][1][5]
